This Syrah boasts a captivating blend of white pepper, black cherries, and crushed coriander on the nose, with subtle hints of licorice, lavender, and marjoram. The palate reveals a delightful savouriness, showcasing pure fruit freshness at its core. The fine, layered tannins contribute to its great concentration and density.

In The Vineyard

Syrah grapes from a specific section of a south facing vineyard. Here the decomposed granite soils contain a bit more gravel with some scattered granite outcroppings.

About The Harvest

The grapes were handpicked and cooled overnight in a cold room.

In The Cellar

100% whole bunch fermentation occurred spontaneously in open top concrete tanks. The wine was drained and lightly pressed of the skins as soon as fernemtation was completed. Wines is aged in a combination of 400L first fill French oak and 2nd and 3rd fill 225L oak for 18 months.
